What if a simple pair of shoes could transform your dancing?

Well,  it's no substitute for lessons and hard work, but the right pair of shoes can really help your dancing.

Ballroom shoes are lightweight, allowing you to move your feet quickly and easily. They fit more snugly (but comfortable!) than a street shoe, so you can keep your foot positions clean.

Ballroom dance shoes are made to be flexible, allowing your feet to point or flex as required, even in a high heel! And the suede sole provides the perfect amount of friction for sliding, pivoting AND gripping the floor when necessary. This alone could add years to the life of your knees, hips and ankles.

If you are moving to a level 2 or above class, you will want a pair of proper shoes.

Join the dancers who've made the switch to the correct pair of shoes.

We carry a variety of styles of Comfort Brand and Very Fine dance shoes for men and women. We can also order a wide variety of additional styles if you don't find the one you want in stock.

We can usually fit you for a pair of shoes during normal class hours.

Buy a Shoe Brush for Proper Care of the Sole

The suede sole of your shoes takes extra care. Don't wear your shoe outdoors, especially on asphalt or other oily surfaces.  The fibers in the suede pick up wax and dirt, and the sole can get matted and become slick without proper care.

Use a wire brush to pick at the nap and clean out debris before every time you dance. Buy one at our front desk.
